About the Role

As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer at Watlow, you will play a critical role in supporting production operations in our St. Louis facility. Our manufacturing site produces a wide range of thermal products, including heaters and sensors, that are used in various industries such as semiconductor, sustainable energy, medical equipment, and food safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure manufacturing processes and equipment meet or exceed production requirements.
  • Resolve manufacturing issues that impact safety, delivery, and cost in a timely manner.
  • Design and implement production tooling and equipment to support continuous improvement and new product development.
  • Develop and lead corrective and preventive actions to resolve manufacturing issues.
  • Provide technical support for facility-related projects, such as utility changes and equipment moves.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering with 5+ years of related experience or technical degree/certificate with 10+ years' experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems using creative and systemic problem-solving tools and techniques.
  • Excellent engineering and communication skills to work with a broad range of applications, customers, suppliers, and team members.
  • Strong background in machine and tooling design, lean manufacturing tools, and quality control techniques.
