Position Summary:
We are looking for an Underground Cable Installation Specialist to become a vital part of our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating equipment to locate and install underground cables, ensuring that all existing lines are accurately marked and that quality assurance checks are performed diligently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately identify and mark existing underground cables as instructed.
  • Determine and mark locations for new cable installations.
  • Operate equipment for locating and burying cables within designated areas.
  • Assist field personnel and customers with various tasks and responsibilities.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks and ensure timely completion of documentation.
  • Wear appropriate safety gear, including hard hats and safety vests, as required.
  • Comply with company safety standards and OSHA regulations.
  • Safely operate company vehicles and maintain them as necessary.
  • Navigate vehicles and trailers in and around construction sites and parking areas.
  • Uphold customer privacy in accordance with company policies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with coaxial and fiber cable installation, including rod and missile boring.
  • Flexibility to work various schedules, including evenings and weekends.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and enthusiasm for the role.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to travel overnight to different markets as needed.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Commitment to maintaining a professional work environment.
  • Capability to work in diverse conditions, including various weather and physical environments.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Successful completion of all pre-employment screenings.
