Pharmacy Director Opportunity

Top Tier Reps LLC is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Pharmacy Director to lead their pharmacy department in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospital pharmacy, with a focus on leadership and strategic management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the pharmacy department, including pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
  • Develop and implement pharmacy policies and procedures to ensure safe and effective medication management.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including licensing and certification requirements.
  • Oversee the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring accuracy and safety.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and medication therapy.
  • Manage the pharmacy budget, including cost control and financial reporting.
  • Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance pharmacy services.
  • Provide education and training to pharmacy staff and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in hospital committees and contribute to strategic planning efforts.

Requirements:

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy.
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Idaho.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of hospital pharmacy experience.
  • At least three (3) years of director-level experience in a hospital setting.
  • Strong knowledge of state and federal pharmacy regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
