Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement collaborative practice agreements to drive patient medication compliance for high-risk patients.
  • Implement best practices and ensure department compliance with state regulations.
  • Ensure adequate staffing to fulfill pharmacy needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of prescription medication received and dispensed.
  • Ensure policies are in place for accurate dispensing and labeling of prescriptions.
  • Ensure security of prescription area and its contents.
  • Ensure only pharmacists and interns provide professional consultation with patients and physicians.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary prescription area.
  • Comply with all Federal and State statutes, rules, and regulations governing pharmacy practice.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or PharmD.
  • Must be a licensed Pharmacist in the state of Maine or able to obtain licensure.
  • Prior management experience highly preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel/PowerPoint/Word).
  • Excellent planning, organizing, and leadership skills.
  • Strong customer orientation and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work on call or be in an on-call rotation.

  • Competitive salary range: $109,900 - $164,850.
