Job Summary:

Cambay Healthcare LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join our dynamic pharmacy team. As a Pharmacy Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional pharmaceutical care to our patients and contributing to the growth and success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and provide pharmaceutical care offered by the Department of Pharmacy
  • Provide medication appropriate to the age of patients served in the department
  • Acquire and/or demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span
  • Dispense and provide professional supervision of inpatient and outpatient medications in accordance with legal requirements and hospital policy
  • Screen and prioritize orders, dispense stat, now, and initial doses as needed
  • Check Pyxis loads and refills, confirm for delivery
  • Prepare and/or check chemotherapy admixtures, confirm for delivery
  • Refill and check code carts, assist with Medication Reconciliation
  • Document items needed to be purchased in want book, prepare and dispense employee prescriptions when needed
  • Compound medications as required, provide total parenteral nutritional services offered by Pharmacy
  • Provide pharmaceutical care by identifying potential and actual drug-related problems, resolving actual drug-related problems, and preventing potential drug-related problems in a cost-effective manner

Requirements:

  • Must have 2 years recent experience as a Pharmacist in a hospital setting
  • Shifts will be (5) 8', 1 weekend every 5th or so and yes rotating call
  • Must have BLS certifications, attached to the submission (Must be through the American Heart Association); RQI certifications will not be accepted
  • Must have Idaho Pharmacy license
