Front Office Supervisor Job Description

We're seeking a highly motivated and organized Front Office Supervisor to join our team at Mainsail Lodging and Development. As a key member of our Front Office team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless day-to-day operations, providing exceptional guest service, and supporting the Front Office Manager in achieving our hotel's goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in managing, training, and motivating Front Desk staff to deliver outstanding guest experiences
  • Oversee Front Desk operations, including check-in and check-out procedures, luggage handling, and concierge services
  • Serve as the initial point of contact for guest inquiries, issues, or concerns
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
  • Assist in creating and managing department schedules
  • Follow all hotel policies and procedures
  • Serve as Property Manager on Duty in the absence of senior leadership
Requirements:
  • Previous hospitality supervisory experience
  • Experience in hotel Front Desk positions
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to use technology, including tablets, iPads, and computers
  • Top-notch phone and customer service skills
  • Prior experience with coaching and training a team
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Proven experience in guest relations
