Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the nursing department, ensuring that our residents receive exceptional care and support.
- Clinical Oversight: Ensure that our nursing staff is providing high-quality care that meets the needs of our residents, including wound care, skin rounds, and infection control.
- Staff Development: Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our nursing staff, ensuring that they are equipped to provide the best possible care.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure that our nursing department is in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, and that we are meeting our quality assurance goals.
- Communication and Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with our residents, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that we are providing seamless care and support.
- Education and Experience: A current State RN license and a minimum of 3 years of experience in Long-Term Care settings, with 2 years of management experience preferred.
- Leadership and Communication Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire our nursing staff.
- Flexibility and Adaptability: The ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing circumstances, including unexpected needs and emergencies.
