Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing light mechanical issues with our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues with wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, and engine components.
  • Assist customers with roadside services and provide preventative maintenance services.
  • Work in close quarters to move and lift heavy equipment and tools.
  • Ensure the safety and satisfaction of customers by complying with company safety policies and procedures.
  • Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night shifts as needed.
  • Obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love's).
