Extrusion Operator

We are seeking a skilled Extrusion Operator to join our team at our Concord, NC plant. Americhem is a leading manufacturer of custom color concentrates, and our production team specializes in setting up, operating, and tending extruding machines to process a variety of products for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate extruders and related equipment to produce compound samples according to specifications.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks on machinery and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Use tow motor/forklift to lift color pots and set them in the proper slot.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience in manufacturing/production strongly preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot.
- Tow motor/forklift experience.
- Dependable, reliable, and self-motivated.
- Solid math and analytic skills.
