Job Description

We are seeking a Card Access Specialist - Maintenance to join our team at the University of Massachusetts. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing card access systems, as well as providing technical support to our campus community.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of card access systems and experience working with complex systems. They will be able to troubleshoot and repair issues efficiently, as well as provide excellent customer service to our campus community.

About the Role
  • Install, maintain, and repair card access systems, including readers, controllers, and doors.
  • Troubleshoot and repair issues with card access systems, using specialized testing and monitoring equipment.
  • Provide technical support to our campus community, responding to requests and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure smooth operation of our card access systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience working with card access systems, preferably in a maintenance or repair role.
  • Strong understanding of card access systems and experience working with complex systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and work at heights.
