Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to join our team at Conductix-Wampfler. As an EHS Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and compliant manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop plans to mitigate potential losses and hazards.
  • Coordinate with operations management to ensure effective EHS practices and procedures are implemented and working.
  • Provide guidance and direction to employees on EHS policies, procedures, and training programs.
  • Assist with maintaining all documentation associated with permits and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with the operations team on regulatory programs and its applications, and help support the compliance process.
  • Accountable for researching and writing permit applications and work with EHS committee and key operations personnel to ensure Conductix-Wampfler is compliant in completing permit reporting requirements.
Requirements
  • Safety and health professional training/certifications.
  • Associate's degree (A.S.) in Environmental, Safety & Health or business (or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Workman's Compensation Claim and Case Management training.
  • OSHA Compliance certification.
  • ISO 14001 and 45001 internal auditor training.
