We are seeking an experienced Controller to join our team at Helena Motors Group. As a key member of the finance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy of financial statements, compliance with regulatory requirements, and efficient management of company resources.

About the Role:
  • Financial Management:
    • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and the board of directors.
    • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to inform business decisions.
    • Monitor and analyze financial performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Accounting Operations:
    • Oversee the accounting function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
    • Ensure adherence to GAAP and relevant regulatory requirements.
    • Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Compliance and Audit:
    • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including tax filings.
    • Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and implement audit recommendations.
    • Maintain and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Strategic Planning:
    • Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
    • Evaluate and implement financial systems and technology improvements.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Manage and mentor accounting staff, fostering professional growth and development.
    • Ensure effective communication within the finance team and across departments.
    • Promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting, preferably with experience in the automotive industry. The salary range for this position is approximately $85,000-$115,000 per year, depending on experience.
