Job Title: Senior IT Business Applications Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Business Applications Analyst to join our Information Technology organization. This role will play a critical part in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions, ensuring the successful implementation, optimization, and support of our business systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner and collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for various IT projects
  • Lead IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards
  • Evaluate existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions that align with business objectives
  • Provide ongoing support and manage multiple vendors to ensure existing systems are properly supported and maintained
  • Play multiple roles in IT to support and enhance current system landscape; involved in the full lifecycle delivery and maintenance of various applications (selection, implementation, post go-live support, continuous improvement)
  • Provide hands-on configuration and testing for various applications
  • Manage vendors where applicable as managed services
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment and address any concerns or issues
  • Evaluate vendor solutions, develop alternatives, and recommend technical solutions in meeting the evolving needs of the business
  • Provide training and support to end-users to ensure effective utilization of IT systems and tools
  • Help establish and enforce IT Governance and Change Control amongst IT and business teams to prioritize and implement improvements for systems
  • Develop technical documentation through the application lifecycle (e.g. system design specifications, architecture diagrams, etc.)
  • Author internal and system IT policies and procedures
  • Collaborate closely with Quality to ensure proper GxP validation of applications where applicable
  • Ensure compliance with various regulatory environments (e.g. SOX, GxP, GDPR, HIPAA)
Requirements:
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree (Computer Science preferred) with at least 4+ years of work experience and a minimum of 2 years in the Life Sciences/Biotech industry
  • Knowledge and background with a Cell & Gene Therapy company is a plus
  • Proven application expertise relevant to business processes and functions across the value chain in a Life Sciences/Biotech company (from Research to Commercial)
  • Understanding of both US and Global requirements (EU, APAC) from an IT and compliance perspective
  • Experience working in a regulated environment (SOX, GxP, GDPR, HIPAA)
  • Experience with various applications such as ERP (NetSuite), Procure to Pay (Coupa), HRIS (BambooHR), Quality Systems (Veeva - EDMS, QMS, LMS), ELN (Benchling), Clinical Systems (EDC, SAS), Research Software, Collaboration Tools, Sharepoint, etc.
  • Experience implementing data storage, integration, and analytics/reporting systems (e.g. Azure, integration platforms, reporting tools)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong background in software development methodology (e.g. Agile, SDLC, ITIL) and project management/business analysis
  • Project management skills and strong focus on delivery
  • Self-motivated with a high degree of initiative and excellent follow-up skills, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs
Pay Range:

The pay range for this role is $112,000 - $154,000. Title and salary will be based on our assessment of skills and experience relevant to our needs for the role.
