MRI Technologist, Float, Sunnyside, Full-time 40 hours

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologists play a vital role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients. As an MRI Technologist, Float, Sunnyside, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic MRI examinations according to established imaging protocols. Your primary goal will be to provide efficient and effective patient care, ensuring the production of high-quality diagnostic MRI examinations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Reviews orders and daily schedules to confirm correct exam procedures
• Performs MRI studies according to established imaging protocols
• Consults with radiologists and physicians as necessary to confirm correct exam procedures
• Maintains patient safety and accuracy of information and data entry
• Provides service-oriented communications with patients to explain magnetic resonance imaging procedures, obtain patient history, and conduct imaging screens
• Positions patients as required for requested exams and uses appropriate coils and sequences for desired examinations or procedures
Requirements:
• Minimum one year of MRI work experience within the last three years
• High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required
• Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist License (Oregon) or Registered Radiologic Technologist (Washington) required
• Basic Life Support within one month of hire
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certificate - Magnetic Resonance Imaging required at hire from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists

• Associates degree or higher in Radiologic Science or related field
• Bachelors degree in Radiologic Science
