Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented General Accountant to join our General Accounting team. The successful candidate will provide support in various accounting functions within the company, including financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the monthly close process, including preparing month-end schedules, reconciliation, and preparing closing entries.
  • Prepare and upload various journal entries daily, ensuring all transactions are carried out in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.
  • Assist with monthly variance analysis of corporate overhead expenditures against budget and report any findings to management.
  • Reconcile complex cash accounts and work with cross-functional teams to discuss and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Assist with banking-related activities, including transactional reporting and daily cash journal entries.
  • Assist with the yearly audit and provide supporting documentation.
  • Assist with Fixed Asset reporting, including tracking costs for various purchases and ongoing capitalizable projects.
  • Provide general support on miscellaneous ad-hoc projects.
Requirements
  • Proficient understanding of accounting processes and principles.
  • Experience with a large ERP system preferred.
  • Effective analytical skills.
  • Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.); Oracle preferred.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary.
  • Work under pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude.
  • Oral and written communication skills as required for the position.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and an effective team player.
  • Interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others.

Pay Range

The pay range for this role is $32.20-$42.50 Hourly. Candidate's pay can vary based on location, job-related experience, skills, and education.
