Job Title: Corporate Accounting Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Accounting Manager to join our team at Precoat Metals. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for executing the company's accounting operations and financial accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
  • Manage and maintain balance sheet and income statement account structures in Oracle, including approval of new accounts or changes in classification of activity.
  • Prepare balance sheets and income statements that are complete, accurate, and timely, including proper classification of balance sheet activity, accruals, and evaluation of assets as valid and collectible.
  • Oversee and/or prepare balance sheet and income statement reports and analysis reporting for the purpose of identifying errors, new activities, or anomalies in the financial results.
  • Draft and maintain accounting procedures and controls to ensure ongoing compliance with established accounting policies.
  • Track passed adjustments to the financial statements, including timely and accurate resolution and inclusion in the financial statements.
  • Effectively communicate, both written and oral, across the organization (up, down, and across) as to business issues and proper accounting treatment.
  • Manage, hire, develop, and motivate a high-performing accounting team, providing direction and guidance to enhance their skills and drive results.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or related field required.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, especially Oracle (EPBCS, FCCS, Service Management, Strategic Modeling, Financials), and Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • Experience in Public financial organizations preferred; Previous accounting experience in manufacturing or project-based job costing experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP.
  • Must be able to travel internationally.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field required.
  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), Finance or related field is preferred.
  • CPA (Certified Public Accountant) preferred, or CMA (Certified Management Accountant), or other relevant certification a plus.
