Filtration Sales Specialist

About the Role:
The Filtration Sales Specialist will be responsible for driving territory growth, expanding direct sales, and establishing professional relationships with customers in the Mid-Atlantic US region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to sales strategies and account plans, working closely with the core account team.
- Focus on Filtration Consumables opportunities and surrounding single-use designs within the territory, supporting all filtration consumables products and related equipment.
- Develop sales of modality process solutions in the assigned sales region/territory, building long-lasting technical customer relationships.
- Provide high-level technical expertise during pre-sales discussions, instrument demonstrations, customer training, post-sales support, seminars, tenders/quotes, and promotional events.
- Lead technical and process-related discussions with customer Subject Matter Experts, providing applicative support, including troubleshooting and answering complex technical and applicative queries.
- Develop sales opportunities to create a sales funnel and meet business targets, managing leads and prospects using customer relationship management software.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences or a relevant field.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with filtration and downstream processing.
- Customer focus – delivering customer-centric solutions to meet current and anticipated needs.
- Plan to Action – prioritizing options and translating intentions into plans and sustainable outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Commercial sales process experience, preferably in the Biotechnology industry.
- Cross-selling, upselling, value positioning, and funnel management skills.
Salary and Benefits:
This role offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $115,000, depending on experience. Additionally, Cytiva provides a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k) matching.
