Job Summary

Forest Urgent Care is seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Preparation: Prepare patients for exams, document medical history, and take vital signs.
  • Phlebotomy and EKG: Provide phlebotomy and EKG services as needed.
  • Procedure Support: Assist Echo technicians in the procedure room.
  • Scheduling and Record-Keeping: Organize and schedule appointments, update and file medical records, and verify patient insurance eligibility.
  • Correspondence and Supplies: Produce and distribute correspondence, memos, letters, faxes, and forms, and maintain supplies in exam rooms and phlebotomy and lab areas.
Requirements
  • Medical Background: Medical Scribe Certification or medical background required.
  • Language Skills: Chinese or Spanish knowledge is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software.

Pay: $16.00 - $23.00 per hour
