Forest Urgent Care is seeking a highly skilled and organized Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for exams, document medical histories, and take vital signs.
  • Provide phlebotomy, EKG, and assist with Echo procedures.
  • Organize appointments, update and file medical records, and verify insurance eligibility.
  • Request prior-authorizations and arrange hospital admissions and laboratory services.
  • Produce and distribute correspondence, memos, and forms.
  • Clean exam rooms and maintain medical instruments and supplies.
Requirements
  • Medical Scribe Certification or medical background.
  • Excellent time management, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills.
  • Social perceptiveness and service-oriented attitude.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Chinese or Spanish language skills.

Job Type: Full-time / Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $23.00 per hour
