Your Role:
As a Telecommunications Installation Specialist, you will be tasked with the installation, maintenance, and disconnection of services for both residential and commercial clients. Your focus will be on ensuring exceptional customer service and delivering high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform installations, repairs, and service disconnections for data, video, and phone services.
2. Assist in managing escalations and specialized work orders alongside supervisors and technicians.
3. Monitor and record RF signal levels to maintain service quality.
4. Communicate effectively with leadership and dispatch teams.
5. Educate customers on services and troubleshooting.
6. Operate company vehicles safely and responsibly.
7. Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation as required.
8. Complete additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum of 6 months in a related role or 2-3 years as a telecommunications technician.
Skills and Competencies:
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to communicate complex technical information to customers.
- Proficient in using ladders and hand/power tools.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills and time management abilities.
