We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Business Operations Manager. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the success of our students.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of the Accounting and Business Lab, ensuring a conducive learning environment for students.
- Develop and implement innovative learning solutions to support student success, working closely with faculty and staff to build awareness and business continuity in support of accounting, business, economics, and other BIT courses and programs.
- Manage budgets, track student utilization, and proactively address student needs to ensure the Lab meets the requirements for various College and Department resources.
- Collaborate with the Student Computer Center to provide additional resources and support for students, facilitating communication between students and faculty, and ensuring accuracy on Lab web pages.
- Troubleshoot online problems, complaints, and other issues, promoting the Lab via various channels and managing social media accounts to provide accurate information to students and others who use these resources.
- Associate's degree in business or related field, with a minimum of 6 semester credit hours in accounting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting and business principles, tutoring, and accounting software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a confidential and professional manner.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment, with flexibility to adapt to changing goals, priorities, and needs.
- Quarterly compliance training as assigned by institution.
This is a regular, non-exempt position, working 40 hours per week with some evenings and weekends required. The work is performed in an indoor lab, classroom, and/or office setting, with a dynamic environment that requires sensitivity to change and responsiveness to changing goals, priorities, and needs.
