About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Academic Advisor to join our team at the University of Georgia. As an Academic Advisor, you will play a critical role in supporting the academic success of our students, providing guidance on course selection, and helping them navigate the university's academic policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet with students to discuss their academic goals and develop personalized plans to achieve them.
  • Provide accurate and timely information about university policies, procedures, and degree requirements.
  • Assist students with course selection and registration, and help them navigate the university's academic systems.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of university programs and policies, and stay up-to-date on changes and updates.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to provide comprehensive support to students.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
