The YMCA of South Florida is actively looking for Site Supervisors to oversee operations at various Broward County School locations. The Site Supervisor will collaborate closely with the Program Manager to ensure the smooth functioning of after-school and day camp programs. Key responsibilities encompass managing relationships with participants and their families, organizing program documentation, supervising staff members, developing engaging program activities, collecting necessary fees, and monitoring inventory.
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and maintain quality standards at the site
- Ensure appropriate child-to-staff ratios
- Handle fee collection as required
- Effectively supervise site personnel
- Foster a welcoming environment for all participants
- Design and execute a variety of program activities
- Maintain clear communication with parents
- Collaborate with school staff
- Ensure adherence to funding agency and YMCA regulations
- Keep accurate records of participant information
- Promptly report any incidents or accidents
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of three years' experience in childcare or day camp environments
