Job Summary: AKP Recruiting is seeking a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead engineering design functions on large public and private developments. This candidate will have at least 10-15 years of experience in design and project management, with expertise in mechanical building systems and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be registered as a Professional Engineer in the state of Texas and have experience working on federal sector projects.

The successful candidate will perform mechanical building systems and infrastructure engineering design functions, conduct business development activities, lead and manage project delivery teams, develop scope, budget, and schedules, and negotiate projects with clients. They will also assist with recruitment of new engineers and architects and direct junior engineers' performance.

This role offers an estimated salary of $145,000 per year, based on national averages for similar positions in Fort Worth, TX or Houston, TX.
