- Provide "VIP level" service to patients, fostering a positive experience and driving loyalty.
- Retain patients throughout their therapy, supporting them at every step to achieve the best possible outcomes.
- Prevent and resolve drug-related issues, offering expert guidance to patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Coordinate clinical projects, inform formulary decisions, and ensure billing compliance and revenue capture.
- Serve as a resource and expert in specialty medications, driving knowledge through research and writing activities.
- Advanced degree or Board Certification (e.g., PharmD, M.S., Board Certification in a subspecialty).
- Licensed to practice or ability to become licensed as a Pharmacist in Ohio.
- Strong people skills, ability to work with teams, and communicate effectively at all levels.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Calendar.
- Experience as an Ambulatory Clinical Specialist in a specialty disease setting.
- Proficiency in multiple EMR systems (e.g., EPIC, Cerner, Meditech).
- Proficiency with dispensing systems (e.g., QS1, RX30, Computer Rx) and experience in pharmacy dispensing.
- PGY2 Residency in Specialty Pharmacy.
