Assistant Director of Human Resources

Ivy Tech Community College is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as Assistant Director of Human Resources. This key role will focus on driving recruitment and employee engagement efforts for the Columbus Service Area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent for full- and part-time faculty and staff positions.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop effective candidate selection criteria.
  • Source and engage with applicants through various channels, including online recruiting boards and professional networks.
  • Design and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Assist with employee affirmative action and equal employment opportunity programs.
  • Represent the College at community, civic, and professional meetings and conferences.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • One to three years of related work experience, or an associate degree or industry-related certification with three to four years of experience.
  • Full-cycle recruitment experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary range: $43,000 - $50,000.
  • Full-time, benefits-eligible position with no enrollment waiting period.
