We are seeking a Senior Manager, Media Planning to join our dynamic dentsuX team. This role is based in New York and involves regular interaction with both your team and clients. You will be part of a supportive environment, collaborating with a prestigious luxury beauty brand.
In this pivotal role, you will report directly to the Director of Client Solutions and Planning. Your expertise in the media landscape (both Traditional and Digital) will be essential as you manage daily operations, ensuring alignment with client objectives and communicating resource requirements effectively.
Key Responsibilities:- Comprehensive understanding of various media channels and experience in coordinating across multiple disciplines (including Display, Partner Direct, Content, SEM, Social, TV, OLV, OOH, and Radio).
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in upper funnel media awareness campaigns.
- Collaborate with creative agencies to align on asset requirements and account needs.
- Work with multi-channel teams to develop modern, strategic, and integrated media plans across diverse awareness-based channels (TV, CTV, Video, Social, Programmatic, and Audio).
- Comfortable engaging directly with clients regarding inquiries and media strategies.
- Assist in evaluating timelines and managing daily deliverables.
- Analyze competitive landscapes, generate reports using agency tools, and compile actionable insights.
- Oversee a substantial Media Budget and Flowchart.
- Supervise one direct report, Senior Associate, Planning.
- Guide media channel selection and proactively identify new opportunities.
- At least 2 years of experience in a large agency environment.
- Minimum of 2 years in media planning and buying across TV, CTV, Social, and digital platforms.
- 1+ years of experience with tools such as Media Ocean, DDS, Nielsen Ad Intel, Pathmatics, Media Tools, Web Analytics, Ad Servers, and Media Research tools.
- Ability to cultivate client relationships effectively.
- Experience in fostering collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in budget management and possess a solid understanding of mathematical concepts.
