We are seeking a highly skilled Process Optimization Specialist to join our team at Struktol Company of America, LLC. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for researching, designing, and developing processes to optimize productivity and workflow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with R&D and QC teams to establish quality control parameters and ensure compliance with ISO standards.
  • Work closely with production scheduling department to prepare batch formulas and ensure timely production.
  • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and develop sustainable corrective actions.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot problems related to customer complaints, processes, and operations.
  • Provide manufacturing support and troubleshooting, including observation of first-time production runs and root cause investigation of off-spec production batches.
  • Contribute to the development of health and safety standards and promote the implementation of ISO standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • BS in Chemistry or Engineering, MS degree a plus.
  • Experience with Statistical Process Control and Root Cause Analysis.
  • Strong analytical, technical, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting and lead as necessary.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Microsoft Office knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • ISO 9001 and Management experience a plus.

Working Conditions

This position requires a strong commitment to safety and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable wearing PPE and working with plant equipment, chemicals, and machinery.
