Newborn Hearing Screen Specialist

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a skilled Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the hearing health of newborns.
Responsibilities- Conduct newborn hearing screens in a hospital setting, providing education to parents on the importance of the screen.
- Enter patient data and validate hearing screen results accurately.
- Assist with confirming or rescheduling outpatient appointments, addressing equipment issues, and training new staff.
- Experience working with infants is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Computer proficiency and ability to perform accurate data entry are required.
- Ability to prioritize daily tasks and assignments, work independently, and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work on weekends and national holidays is required.
