Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital. As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our radiology department.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the performance of interventional radiology procedures, including angioplasty, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephrogram, peripherals, biopsies, drainages, vascular studies, venous access, neuro studies, GU, Abd and Pelvis, and upper/lower extremity procedures.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including C-Arm, Contrast, and Biopsies.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient patient care.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and communication, ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in interventional radiology or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of imaging equipment and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and ARRT certification required.
