Job Summary

Sutter Health is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist Level II to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assessment, treatment, and care for patients with cognitive, speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
  • Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, their families, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication.
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care.
  • Assist with clinical supervision of assistants and aides, and serve as a clinical instructor for assigned students.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in speech pathology or equivalent education/experience.
  • SP-Licensed Speech Pathologist.
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Critical thinking and complex problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer and required technology proficiency.
