About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Engineer to join our Infectious Disease Developed Markets business unit located in Westbrook, Maine. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing the utilization of personnel, processes, and equipment within Operations. You will apply Lean Sigma tools to develop future manufacturing layouts, including process flow development, value stream mapping, time studies, line balancing, and waste reduction (material and labor).

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to drive process improvements.
  • Develop and implement project management and mathematical modeling techniques to optimize operations.
  • Utilize Lean principles, Six Sigma, and other improvement methodologies to drive quality, cost, safety, and delivery performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and implement changes.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial or Mechanical Engineering preferred) or equivalent technical experience.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
  • Microsoft Power BI experience.
  • Experience with overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) data management, statistical process control (SPC), financial budgets/standards.
