About the Role

Benevis is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Anesthesiology Specialist to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Dental Anesthesiologist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-level anesthesia care to children and young adults during office-based surgery days.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mobile Anesthesiology Expertise: Provide specialized anesthesiology services within a dental practice, adapting to different clinical environments alongside a Pediatric Dentist.
  • Collaborative Practice: Work closely with Pediatric Dentists, optimizing patient cooperation through skilled anesthetic administration and airway management.
  • Advanced Patient Care: Focus on patients who require more than local anesthesia, such as children with dental anxiety, pediatric patients, or those with specific physical or cognitive needs.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure: Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology Residency and current, valid medical or dental license in good standing.
  • Certifications: PALS, BLS, DEA, and other required certifications.
  • Professional Experience: Demonstrated capability in anesthesia delivery, including intravenous deep sedation and general anesthesia.
  • Collaborative Approach: Ability to work closely with dental teams, including surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
