Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to join our team at TrustCare. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with physicians to manage patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive patient care, including medical management, education, and treatment planning.
  • Develop and implement outcome measures to monitor the quality of care and effectiveness of services.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to manage complex health problems.
  • Diagnose and treat illnesses, medical conditions, and injuries.
  • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests.
  • Collect, record, and maintain patients' information and histories.
  • Prescribe and administer treatments, therapies, medications, vaccinations, and other specialized medical care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and family members to explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments.
  • Monitor patients' conditions and progress.
  • Direct, coordinate, and consult with nurses, students, assistants, specialists, therapists, and other medical staff.
  • Advise patients, parents, and guardians on diets, activities, hygiene, and disease prevention.
  • Identify issues and provide guidance to team members for problem-solving.
  • Collaborate with the management team to plan, set goals, train, manage metrics, and drive growth.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited education program and certified and licensed by the appropriate national, state, and local governing agencies for a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Must hold NP license in Mississippi.
  • Must maintain the standards of professional and ethical practice in the provision of the full scope of state regulations.
  • Must have and maintain a current CPR for Healthcare Providers certification.
  • Two years of Pediatric primary care experience is required.
  • Five years of Nurse Practitioner experience is preferred.
Work Environment

This position operates in a clinic environment. The position requires frequent walking, standing, and lifting.
