  • Evaluate, document, and implement changes to improve performance, quality, manufacturability, safety, and cost-effectiveness of existing products and processes.
  • Design and verify tools, gauges, and equipment for new or customer-specific programs, and manufacture and validate initial part prototypes.
  • Support qualification processes with project and development teams, leading to successful manufacturing release.
  • Design and conduct experiments to resolve design questions, and assemble, test, and troubleshoot automated manufacturing equipment.
  • Create manufacturing documentation for new products and processes, and apply LEAN and Six Sigma continuous improvement practices.
  • Inspect tooling, gauges, and customer parts for dimensional accuracy using various measurement tools, and develop CMM programs for inspection and quality assurance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology, with a preference for Mechanical Engineering but other disciplines will be considered.
  • 2-4 years of relevant engineering experience.
  • Familiarity with plastic part fabrication techniques, including common forming and sealing methods; thermoforming experience is a plus.
  • Understanding of machine design, basic electrical design, and standard manufacturing practices.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other software with the ability to quickly learn new tools.
  • Advanced proficiency in 3D CAD software.
  • Strong knowledge of drawing standards, including geometric tolerancing.

  • Full coverage for health and dental insurance premiums for you and your family.
  • Partial reimbursement for deductibles incurred by family members each year.
  • Complete coverage for life, short-term, and long-term disability insurance.
  • 120 hours of paid personal time off (PTO).
  • 10 paid holidays each year.
