Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Cardiovascular Provider. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing in-house nuclear tests and reporting results to affected parties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Escort patients to testing areas and explain procedures to ensure informed consent.
  • Administer all in-office nuclear tests and image, process, and format images for physician interpretation.
  • Maintain cleanliness of nuclear room and document test results to physicians and patients as directed.
  • Verify patient appointments and ensure proper use of isotopes.
  • Assist in notifying patients of special instructions prior to testing and escort patients to check-out.
  • Monitor consistency of test results, equipment settings, and physician involvement.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain confidentiality of protected health information.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum two years' experience in nuclear thallium testing and cardiovascular screening.
  • ARRT and/or NMTCB registry and current Texas licensure in Nuclear Medicine.
  • Current CPR certification and fluency in English.
  • Understanding of OSHA and HIPAA requirements.
Working Conditions

This role requires standing, bending, pushing, pulling, lifting, transporting supplies or equipment, and walking for extended periods. Vision and hearing must be within or correctable to within normal range.
