Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist

UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the advancement of medical imaging technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform nuclear medicine examinations according to established protocols and procedures.
  • Verify patient identification and ensure proper patient preparation for exams.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and advancements.
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nuclear medicine technology.
  • Licensed as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB).
  • Certified by the Texas Department of Health as a CMRT Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist.
  • Two years of experience in nuclear medicine preferred.
