About This Opportunity
The Jacobson Group is seeking a skilled Insurance Customer Support Specialist to join our team. As a Customer Service Professional, you will provide exceptional customer service to clients and prospects via phone, email, or in-person.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide information, education, and assistance to clients regarding benefits, claims, and eligibility.
- Communicate effectively with clients, internal staff, and external representatives to resolve inquiries and issues.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of client interactions and actions taken.
- Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Meet or exceed performance metrics for quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated knowledge of government programs, medical terminology, and coding (preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; 1 year customer service experience preferred.
