RN - Oncology Specialist

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Oncology team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient experiences.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients with cancer and related conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Monitor and document patient progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, addressing their concerns and promoting healthy behaviors.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of policies and procedures that enhance patient care.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through the AHA, if required by the department.
- One year of current acute care RN experience in a hospital setting, preferably in oncology or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift and move patients, as well as stand and walk for extended periods.
