Job Summary

Focal Point Medical Staffing, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Healthcare Staffing Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing staffing assignments for healthcare professionals, ensuring that our clients' needs are met promptly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staffing Coordination: Schedule and assign healthcare professionals to client facilities based on their qualifications, availability, and client requirements.
  • Client Relations: Maintain positive relationships with clients, understanding their staffing needs, and providing timely solutions.
  • Credential Management: Ensure all healthcare professionals' credentials are up-to-date and comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Shift Management: Monitor and manage shift assignments through the Favorite App and Team Bridge App, ensuring no duplicate shifts are assigned.
  • Communication: Notify staff about available shifts, policy changes, and any relevant updates using Canva-designed communications.
  • Compliance: Adhere to company policies, including holiday pay rates, overtime policies, and shift approval processes.
  • Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any staffing-related issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate records of staffing assignments, availability, and client feedback.
  • Support: Assist with onboarding new staff members and provide necessary training for using all required platforms.
Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in staffing coordination, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Proficiency in using scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and credentialing processes.
