Job Summary:

Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team in a school setting. This is a full-time contract position offering an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine students' occupational therapy needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' fine motor, sensory processing, and activities of daily living skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social success.
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
  • Monitor and document students' progress towards goals, adjusting interventions as needed.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of students' educational plans.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Valid state license to practice Occupational Therapy.
  • Prior experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a school setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Passion for helping students achieve their fullest potential.
