Supply Chain Manager

We are seeking a highly analytical and innovative Supply Planner to join our global planning team at Microsoft. As a key member of our Devices Supply Chain organization, you will play a critical role in executing our end-to-end supply chain strategy and driving performance to achieve financial and category goals for Microsoft devices such as Xbox and Surface.
Key Responsibilities:- Create, communicate, and execute a product supply plan that ensures availability and efficient use of inventory across different regions and segments.
- Work with key suppliers, channel, logistics, and fulfillment teams to improve product availability, lower overall supply chain costs, and optimize working capital.
- Use creativity to solve complex inventory optimization problems in a scalable way and drive continuous improvement of supply planning processes by benchmarking against top practices.
- Partner with logistics teams to determine and execute an optimal fulfillment of the supply plan.
- Manage and monitor inventory health on a daily basis, identifying problem areas and driving appropriate actions to achieve inventory targets.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, or related field, and 3+ years of supply planning, operations, supply chain, indirect supply planning, technology-related supply chain, sourcing, and manufacturing experience.
- Master's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, or related field, and 1+ year of supply planning, operations, supply chain, indirect supply planning, technology-related supply chain, sourcing, and manufacturing experience.
- Knowledge of supply chain with prior experience in product supply planning, inventory management, procurement, or manufacturing operations.
- In-depth knowledge of MS Office Applications, including advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, or related field, and 5+ years of supply planning, operations, supply chain, indirect supply planning, technology-related supply chain, sourcing, and manufacturing experience.
- Master's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, or related field, and 4+ years of supply planning, operations, supply chain, indirect supply planning, technology-related supply chain, sourcing, and manufacturing experience.
- Analytical capabilities and experience with statistical tools.
- Process/system background and an ability to rapidly understand, use, and drive improvements in new processes/systems.
- APICS certification a plus.
