Job Title: Senior Supply Chain Planner

Microsoft is seeking a highly skilled Senior Supply Chain Planner to join our Cloud Supply Chain (CSCP) organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining the Supply Plan of Record for one or more lines of business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform rough-cut Tier 2 parts planning and supply smoothing to define the Supply Plan of Record and translate into long-term supply plans for suppliers.
  • Provide clear reporting insights and analytics on supply plan accuracy and volatility as well as execution to the Supply Plan of Record.
  • Maintain, validate and analyze master data and planning parameter integrity by collaborating with related teams within CSC.
  • Collaborate with planning and sourcing team on multi-sourcing and substitution strategies.
  • Design and optimize processes, metrics and utilization regarding overall Supply management and utilization.
  • Perform scenario analysis to understand impact of component shortages, demand upside/downside, etc. to Supply Plan of Record.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, or related field AND 3+ years supply planning, operations, supply chain, indirect supply planning, technology-related supply chain, sourcing and manufacturing, or related experience.
  • OR Master's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, or related field AND 1+ year(s) supply planning, operations, supply chain, indirect supply planning, technology-related supply chain, sourcing and manufacturing, or related experience.
  • OR equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Effective analytical skills and knowledge in root cause analysis/problem solving and the ability to implement and drive corrective actions and efficiencies in a matrix environment.
  • Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively manage key stakeholders, resolve problems and seek practical solutions.
  • Proficiency in Enterprise Planning systems (such as SAP, Oracle, E2Open, etc.) and business intelligence engines (SQL, Power BI, Power Pivot, Tableau, etc.) are highly desired for this role.
  • A proven track record of growth and increasing responsibility, specifically in acquiring scope/leading areas in supply chain and capacity planning.
  • Effective understanding of S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) elements and process.
  • Experience in Supply Chain Master Data management and governance.
  • Supply Chain experience within a Cloud Organization.
What We Offer:
