POSITION SUMMARY:
As a vital member of our production team, you will be tasked with various responsibilities along the assembly line. Your role will involve operating and troubleshooting production line tasks with a strong emphasis on safety and quality. This position requires prolonged periods of standing.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate machinery, tools, and computer systems on the production line.
- Execute equipment change-overs efficiently.
- Utilize mobile equipment to assist with production needs and roll time.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including tools.
- Ensure equipment is powered down and locked out when not in operation.
- Adhere to detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.
- Report any issues related to quality, processes, equipment, or materials to the Production Supervisor.
- Conduct all tasks in alignment with quality standards and established safety protocols.
- Provide hands-on training to colleagues as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESS:
- Proficient in the safe use of hand tools.
- Ability to interpret drawings and blueprints.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong ability to follow established processes and instructions.
- Possession of a valid CDL Class B is required.
