About the Role:

Bitterroot Health is seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Representative to join our team. As a Patient Access Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service and compassion while performing all duties in a manner consistent with our mission, vision, and standards of performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate all components of the patient's entrance into our medical clinics, including scheduling, registration, insurance verification, and upfront collections.
  • Ensure the most accurate patient data is obtained and populated into the patient record, requiring exceptional attention to detail and knowledge of insurance carriers.
  • Be successfully cross-trained in all medical clinics, available to work weekend shifts, and serve as a super user for our EHR and insurance eligibility software.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, with excellent telephone etiquette skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Basic computer knowledge with experience in MS Office software and 10-key preferred
