Senior Airworthiness Inspector

The Senior Airworthiness Inspector is responsible for ensuring the quality and airworthiness of aircraft and components. This includes conducting inspections, reviewing documentation, and mentoring technicians.

1. Conduct quality control inspections on aircraft and components.
2. Review and verify maintenance documentation for accuracy and completion.
3. Mentor technicians on effective documentation and quality control procedures.
4. Coordinate with RTS to ensure accurate aircraft records are produced in a timely manner.
5. Conduct audits of maintenance documentation for accuracy and completion.
6. Ensure aircraft and components are airworthy prior to any flight activities.

1. High School Diploma or GED required.
2. 6 years aircraft/component inspection experience, including 3 years on large or mid-size aircraft.
3. Airframe and Powerplant License required.
4. Proficient in Federal Aviation Regulations, FAA forms and documents.
5. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
6. Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word.
