Aerospace is seeking a highly skilled Quality Inspector to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products by performing inspections, tests, and audits of purchased parts, units, materials, equipment, and panel/module level assemblies.
Key Responsibilities- Perform inspections, tests, and audits to ensure compliance with specifications and company standards.
- Interpret manufacturing drawings, diagrams, specifications, and lists to approve or reject units, test setups, or systems.
- Rework defective or malfunctioning units or systems.
- Maintain support documentation and perform sampling and testing of incoming components, raw materials, and build of assemblies.
- Review and report performance data.
- Ensure raw materials, in-process, and finished products meet company and test standards.
- Determine or assist in determining methods and procedures necessary for inspection.
- Interface with customer quality representatives or suppliers.
Requires fully proficient job knowledge/skills.
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
Previous experience with electro-mechanical assemblies and calibration of measurement devices is highly desirable.
Visual Inspection: IPC/WHMA-A-610/620 Mechanical Inspection: GD&T per ASME Y14.5
