Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Clinical Pharmacist, your primary duties will include:
- Interpreting and processing medication orders accurately.
- Delivering effective medication therapy management.
- Compounding and dispensing pharmaceuticals with precision.
- Monitoring patient drug regimens for safety and efficacy.
- Advising medical staff on cost-effective medication alternatives.
- Maintaining the hospital formulary and promoting rational drug therapy.
- Assisting with clinical pharmacy services, including drug consultations and therapeutic monitoring.
- Documenting medication errors and adverse reactions appropriately.
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
- Preferred experience in a hospital setting.
- Current Pharmacist license in Texas.
- Certification in Sterile Products (IV) within 60 days of hire.
