Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Pharmacist, your primary duties will include:

  • Interpreting and processing medication orders accurately.
  • Delivering effective medication therapy management.
  • Compounding and dispensing pharmaceuticals with precision.
  • Monitoring patient drug regimens for safety and efficacy.
  • Advising medical staff on cost-effective medication alternatives.
  • Maintaining the hospital formulary and promoting rational drug therapy.
  • Assisting with clinical pharmacy services, including drug consultations and therapeutic monitoring.
  • Documenting medication errors and adverse reactions appropriately.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
  • Preferred experience in a hospital setting.
  • Current Pharmacist license in Texas.
  • Certification in Sterile Products (IV) within 60 days of hire.
