About the Role

Sodexo is seeking an experienced Environmental Services Manager to lead our team at Erlanger in Chattanooga, TN. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for driving client and patient experience scores, providing a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff, and working closely with the Environment of Care Committee and Infection Prevention Director.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Client and Patient Experience Scores: Develop and implement strategies to improve client satisfaction and patient experience.
  • Provide a Clean and Safe Environment: Ensure that all areas of the facility are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with the Environment of Care Committee and Infection Prevention Director to ensure that our environmental services meet the highest standards.
  • Effectively Manage the Unit Operating System: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the environmental services department, including managing staff, budgets, and resources.
  • Support a Diverse and Inclusive Workforce: Foster a culture of inclusion and respect, and promote diversity and equity in all aspects of our operations.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience in leading, training, and managing a team in a healthcare or hospitality environment.
  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to provide exceptional service to patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Results-Driven: A results-driven individual who is committed to delivering high-quality results and exceeding client expectations.
