About the Role

Sodexo is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Environmental Services to lead our team at Erlanger Medical in Chattanooga, TN. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of 125 and ensuring that our facilities are clean, safe, and meet the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of environmental services professionals to deliver exceptional results and exceed client expectations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction, employee engagement, and overall operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including HCAHPS, local, state, and Joint Commission standards.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and projects to achieve business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, employees, and stakeholders to drive business success.
Requirements
  • 5 years of experience in environmental services, housekeeping, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Proven track record of success in improving patient satisfaction, employee engagement, and operational efficiency.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
  • Experience with EPIC, bed tracking, and other healthcare-related systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to drive business results.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
